Checkout
Pro and Max are monthly USD subscriptions purchased through Stripe Checkout. Eligible customers can use Link to reuse a payment method already saved with Stripe.
Admin-approved trials
Eligible Developer workspace owners can request a seven-day Pro trial from Billing. A Genie administrator must approve the request before access changes. An approved trial includes 1,000 processed minutes and two concurrent videos. Trial usage is hard-capped, creates no overage charges, and can be extended by the administrator. The Billing page shows the request state and exact trial end date.
Overages
Pro includes 1,000 processed minutes and charges $0.07 for each additional minute. Max includes 5,000 minutes and charges $0.05 for each additional minute. Usage is reported only after processing completes successfully and is invoiced at the end of the billing period.
Manage billing
Open Billing in the Genie dashboard to compare plans and see projected overages. The Stripe Customer Portal manages payment methods, invoices, tax information, and cancellation.
Payment failures
A failed renewal starts a seven-day grace period. Processing continues during the grace period. If payment is not recovered, Genie applies the Developer hard cap until the subscription becomes current.
Privacy
Genie stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers so it can enforce plan access. Payment credentials and card details remain with Stripe.
